Long live the DVI connector! Thanks a lot for the excellent tutorial! It’s not a big deal for me because I use older monitors anyway. The only problem is that the HDMI and the DisplayPort outputs stopped working. Now the computer detects it as an HD 5770. This time I had a bootscreen and I could easily switch between OS-es. ![]() I flashed the card and put it back in the Mac Pro. I got a 404 error when I wanted to download Rufus but that was not a problem. chg file, so I found the exact same version you used in the video (v3.79). I thought things may not work without the. :) When I unzipped the ATIFlash folder, I found only one file. I was really hoping for it to have a 128K rom chip and it did! I had some problems finding the files you linked down in the description but I was able to find all of them around the internet. I grabbed the card and put it in my PC, saved the rom. It was running fine but I really wanted to get the bootscreen. ![]() ![]() It showed “HD 5000 1024MB”, nothing else. When I installed it in my 3.1 Mac Pro for the first time, the operating system detected it improperly. Thank you a lot, dosdude1! I was able to successfully flash my video card following your method.
